Eagle-eyed reader MFA has spotted the following creative misuse of the Swiss flag on Apple’s MacBook Pro touch bar when using the Maps application:
And they even made mistakes! The Swiss flag has a ratio of 1:1, not 2:1 as shown here. There is only a variant with 2:3. Also, the red they used isn’t quite right, one of the proper reds would be Pantone Red 032 C. Not quite #F00, more like #F00000.
And here I thought Apple cared so much about getting their design right. Tsk, tsk.
We’ve had this game by Volition on here before, but it only just occurred to me that the cat that refills your health during Dr. Genki’s Super Ethical Reality Climax wears a little hat with a Swiss flag on it, and it dispenses health in the form of Swiss-branded bubbles:
Getting it wrong once might be an accident, but twice? This is on purpose. What nefarious suggestions are you trying to make about Switzerland?
Here’s me thinking that the Swiss didn’t fight in any of the world wars, but I guess Relic tried to smuggle them in anyway, thinking we wouldn’t notice. Here’s a Swiss tent you can deploy in that game, complete with two Swiss soldiers:

In this fantastic and dark series’ episode S02E05 you never actually see the Swiss flag on this ambulance, but you see a reflection of the Swiss flag in a shop window:

Not only have game developers still not learned that the Red Cross flag does not mean first aid, they still use the Swiss flag instead of the Red Cross one on health items. The latest example from a game released in 2016, Battlefield 1. Both the health gauge and the first aid kits have Swiss flags on them:

The first aid dispensers in this game have a white cross on them (but no red background), so I was initially disappointed. But when I actually grabbed a first aid kit (or “medi-gel”) from one, I was relieved to see that it bears the Swiss banner:
The Swiss must be a spacefaring nation in this scenario. Taking over the healthcare sector of the universe in their majestic rocket-fueled Toblerone bars.

With extremists now in power, I hope the new government doesn’t take them behind the shed to shoot them for treason. Poland’s flag may use the same colors, but definitely not in that shape.
While the hospital in this scene in the series Archer has a red cross, the ambulance has a Swiss flag. This is surprising for the show, which is normally known to get a lot of cultural stuff right, with the random bits of Spanish, Portuguese and German spoken often making sense, and even a joke about learning Rumantsch (my mother tongue) while flying to Switzerland for a job:
The developers of No Man’s Sky got many things wrong, it seems, and using a Swiss flag to indicate health is simply another:

Even the biggest studios aren’t immune against misuse of the Swiss flag. Civilization V even uses the Swiss shield that is popular on some items, such as Swiss army knives from Victorinox or Wenger, as a symbol for “fortify until healed”. Look in the lower left corner:
I don’t think the unit would survive for long with just a little knife (even if it has scissors or a toothpick).
